About the study

The NorEx study – The Norwegian Trial of Physical Exercise After Myocardial Infarction – is by far the largest exercise trial ever performed, and the project uses Mia Health for digital follow-up of more than 3000 participants.

The main aim is to find out whether long-term exercise prolongs life and prevents new serious illness after a heart attack. The results of the study will be of great significance, enabling more patients to exercise and healthcare professionals to give more specific advice and actually follow up with patients so that more of them are physically active.
